I took a friend there for lunch. It was a Birthday lunch. Mondays they have a great $5.99 special. You get either fish or shrimp with 2 sides. I've had the chowder.It is very good. My friend was given a piece of cheese cake as a Birthday treat. Food is very good.New visit today Mon. April. 1st. No jokeMy friend and I had lunch . Mon. Great atmosphere, family friendly restaurant. Got broiled salmon and shrimp with veggies. Veggies were steamed, but a bit too much for my taste. Normally comes with hush puppies, slaw and a side.

Food is great and the staff are friendly. The service is great. Daily specials can't be beat. Plenty of food for the money. I would highly recommend Oceanview Seafood II.

Nastiest food ever.....overpriced.....I paid $17 for noodles with milk and salad shrimp. Asked for fettuccini alfredo. I didn't ask for my money back because, I didn't go with my gut feelings that this was not the place going in. Never again. I've had better food at nursing homes.😡😡😡

The service was horrible. We waited 10 minutes before our waitress took our order. We ate our entire salad with no beverage, and our meal arrived before our drinks did. The loaded baked potato was burnt on top, and the boiled shrimp tasted like they had been boiled in dirty dish water, and the hush puppies were cold. It's kind of ridiculous to pay $2.50 for a salad when all it is is lettuce with 2 cucumber slices and 2 cherry tomatoes that have been cut in half. The reason I gave this 2 stars, is because the Oceanview special stuffed flounder) was good.

The service was quick. The serving size is good and food is above average.

Clean place, polite staff, sang happy birthday for my dad and gave him a free piece of cheesecake, all our food was good, prompt service, went at 5:30pm on a Saturday and there was plenty of seating available but we did have a reservation. I would give them 5 stars except the ladies room was absolutely disgusting.

We were looking for something simple but chose to eat here. What a Great Surprise! Shrimp, Flounder, Deviled Crab, Salmon and the service were all Fantastic. This is a hidden gem in Cayce. It is well worth the stop. Prices were good and the food was cooked to perfection!!!

We had visited this restaurant several years ago. I have found a great church close and my husband is in PT rehab downtown and he suggested it. We ordered take out and it is the best in Colombia. I have nothing but praise. Please try it for yourself. Best coleslaw and tarter sauce in town. enjoy!

Nice ocean themed seafood restaurant menu with very many good choices, fair prices good portion sizes, very good daily specials.The shrimp and Flounder and she crab soup that I had were very delicious the waitress very competent and very friendly and helpful

Great first visit great Staff and food

I don't eat seafood but everybody else I was with did. I got the fried pork chops, fried okra. My baked potato was less than Superior, and the ranch dressing was watery. One of the other people in my group got thousand island dressing he said it was watery also. However the okra was awesome! And the fried pork chops were doable!

Food wasn't seasoned... Shrimps weren't cleaned... They could do better if they want folk money... Ick...

It was nice and clean and the staff were very nice an helpful, oh and the food was delicious!!!! I got the seafood platter and it was so much food I had to get a to go plate, it's so worth the money believe me!. I highly recommend and will be going back with my whole family next weekend and every chance I get!!! don't knock it till you try it..lol 😍👨‍🍳👩‍🍳❤

Tis ok in a pinch but the food did not taste or smell fresh. A pinch, the likes of a doberman pincher. Server was polite and kind but did not service tables enough with so few people in the store. Good atmosphere, though.

Aweful, do not recommend this place. Rude employees, Rude management, food is not as great as it once was. Establishment is so hot, not even sure the air is in working condition.

Took my wife here on Valentines Day, bad idea screaming kids, chairs feel like they could collapse at any moment. Not a date night type place at all. Wait staff all looked hung over and reeked of cigarettes, but our waitress was at least attentive. I was willing to overlook all this with hopes of this establishment being able to provide a decent meal. My hopes were dashed again. The crab legs were overcooked, extremely salty, and obviously old. The flounder was unseasoned fried mush. The ribeye was a terrible cut ( fatty and only 1/4” thick) and had to be drenched in steak sauce to be mildly edible. Even my 8 yo didn’t eat his chicken fingers. Overall $50 wasted. Just go to Captain D’s down the street and pay less for better seafood.

I would recommend that you go to the ocean view seafood restaurant in Columbia its much better my wife and I tried this location before our food was cold and the service was really poor we will never come back here again I asked to speak to the manager I had wait almost 45 minutes to speak to the manager and it was not good even the manager was rude like I said do your self a big favor and go to the ocean view seafood restaurant in Columbia you want be disipointed how ever you will be if you choose this location

Food was terrible and service was extremely slow. We waited about 30 mins for our food to come out while others got their food in less than 15 minutes. It’d take a miracle for me to ever step foot in an Ocean View again.

Loved the food and the service was great.Restaurant looks a little old but besides that you will enjoy the meals. Plates are huge so you can share a plate for 2 adults.

Picked this seafood place for convenience in Cayce for my grandparents who dislike Harbison. They enjoyed themselves and so did my family. The scampi, flounder, deviled crab, wings, fries and cheeseburger were all delicious. Ocean Breeze recommended from the bar. Pleasant service for lunch on a Saturday. Will return to try other things.

Very good food for less than we normally pay. Huge boxes since we carried out. Crab legs were really good. I know where we will eat seafood at from now on.

This is your basic southern fish camp. So long as you know that, you'll know just what to expect, and you'll probably leave content. As far as fish camps go, Oceanview isn't particularly notable. You'll find standard fair from decoration to cuisine: expect a fish tank, nautical trinkets on the wall, a small water feature, fried fish, and huge portions for the value. The staff was both nice and helpful. We got take out, and they showed us everything we had ordered before we left. When the hostess went to get our food, we were asked by another employee of we had been helped, which is for me a sign of decent, considerate service. Interestingly, their chicken fingers are pretty decent, too.Eat here because you want to eat at a fish camp and there really aren't any others in Columbia.
